Nyquiste 正在积极招聘处于职业早期阶段的 AI 工程师（实习生），该岗位面向希望在真实工程环境中长期成长、与团队紧密协作、并逐步建立扎实工程能力的人才。

这是一个成长型、现场参与型的岗位，不适合仅寻求远程工作或纯刷履历的候选人。

三、你将参与的工作内容


根据公司发展阶段与个人成长情况，你将逐步参与并承担以下工作：

  • 协助推进日常工程任务与项目执行

  • 后端服务与 AI 相关系统的开发支持

  • 在不确定性较高的情况下，推动问题解决与进度前进

  • 在必要时协助处理跨职能或临时性事务

    • 月薪：$2,000

    • 月度补贴：$1,000

AI Engineer (Early Career · Long-Term Growth Focused)

About the Role


Nyquiste is seeking an early-career AI Engineer who is interested in long-term growth, close collaboration, and building real systems in a production environment.


As a small and focused team, we prioritize clarity of understanding, reliability in execution, collaborative mindset, and long-term working relationships over short-term output. This is a growth-oriented, on-site role, not suitable for candidates seeking fully remote work or short-term résumé experience.

 


Who We Are Looking For


We are not looking for someone who simply completes assigned tasks.We are looking for someone who understands direction, gets things done, works well with others, and can grow with the team over time.


An ideal candidate:

  • Can communicate clearly in Mandarin Chinese and is comfortable using WeChat for daily collaboration

  • Is at the beginning of their engineering career (0–1 year after graduation)

  • May still be developing technically, but demonstrates strong execution and fast learning ability

  • Has genuine interest in AI, programming, and building real-world systems

  • Is diligent, humble, and open to feedback

  • Is willing to relocate to Reston, VA and work closely with the team in a hybrid environment

  • Is geographically and practically positioned to support efficient, responsive collaboration in a small team


In a small team, we value:

What You Will Do


As part of our team, you will gradually take on responsibilities including:

  • Supporting day-to-day engineering tasks and project execution

  • Working closely with team members on real product development

  • Contributing to backend services and AI-related systems

  • Helping move projects forward amid ambiguity and change

  • Assisting with cross-functional or urgent tasks when needed

We care less about strict role definitions and more about whether things move forward and get done well.
 


What You Will Learn

​

  • AI-assisted development using tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, GitHub Copilot, and Cursor

  • Backend and web service development

  • LLM-powered systems (RAG pipelines, vector search, tool-augmented workflows)

  • Engineering fundamentals: code quality, reliability, and cost awareness

  • Building, deploying, and iterating on products used by real customers
     


Long-Term Growth Path


This role is designed as a long-term development position, not a temporary job:

  • Internship → Full-time progression

  • Internal mentorship combined with hands-on experience

  • Increasing responsibility as skills and trust grow

  • OPT / STEM OPT support

  • H-1B sponsorship for high-performing, long-term employees (Visa support is performance-based and long-term oriented)
     


Compensation


This is not a high-compensation role at the start, but expectations are clear and sustainable:

  • OPT (Internship period): Unpaid internship

  • STEM OPT:

    • Monthly salary: $2,000

    • Monthly stipend: $1,000

  • Non-OPT / Non-STEM OPT:

    • Compensation compliant with local labor regulations

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (any major welcome)

  • Graduated within the last 0–1 year

  • GPA must be clearly listed on the resume

  • Evidence of hands-on work (projects, GitHub repositories, demos, experiments)

  • Strong willingness to learn, build, and grow long-term
