Assistant Product Designer

Core Responsibilities:

• Lead the design of intuitive, aesthetically pleasing user interfaces across multiple platforms, ensuring a cohesive and engaging user experience.

• Conduct thorough user research and usability testing to gather insights, using this data to inform and refine design decisions.

• Develop detailed wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs, utilizing advanced design tools to communicate your vision effectively.

• Collaborate with developers to ensure the faithful implementation of designs, maintaining design integrity throughout the development process.

• Stay updated with the latest UI/UX trends and best practices, continuously enhancing your designs and methodologies.

Product Design Integration:

• Engage in drafting product concepts and visions, creating a coherent bridge between user needs and product functionality.

• Play a key role in developing proofs of concept (POCs) and initial product drafts, ensuring they align with both user expectations and business goals.

• Translate customer requirements into concrete product features, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure a user-centered design approach.

• Participate in drafting webpages and digital interfaces, focusing on user interaction and experience as primary drivers.

• Facilitate A/B testing and other user feedback mechanisms to validate design choices and iterate on product features.

Collaborative Product Development:

• Actively contribute to product roadmaps and strategy discussions, providing a design-centric perspective that complements product management viewpoints.

• Support the product development cycle by assisting in the creation of user stories and feature prioritization, ensuring a balanced integration of design and functionality.

• Engage with cross-functional teams to provide design insights, fostering an environment where design and product development are cohesively interlinked.

Qualifications for the job:

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related field.

• Experience in product design, demonstrated through a portfolio showcasing a variety of design projects.

• Familiarity with the entire product development process, from concept to production.

​Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, or similar tools.

• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and materials.

• Experience with 3D modeling software and prototyping tools.

Soft Skills:

• Creative and innovative thinking, with a keen eye for aesthetics and detail.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and a user-focused approach to design.
